Aeromac and the Cobquecura High School: Forging the Future of Aeronautics in Ñuble

Within the framework of FIDAE 2026, one of the most significant milestones for professional technical education in Chile was the signing of the Sponsorship Agreement between the company Aeromac and the Liceo Polivalente Diego Missene Burgos of Cobquecura.

This agreement is far more than a mere formality; it represents a historic opportunity for students in the Ñuble Region, making this high school the first educational establishment in the region to establish a partnership of this caliber with a company in the aerospace sector.

What does this partnership entail?

The primary goal is to professionalize local technical education and connect it directly with the current demands of the aeronautical market. The key points include:

• New Specialization in Mechanics: Thanks to this support, the school will be able to offer a specialization in Aircraft Maintenance Mechanics, allowing young people from Cobquecura and surrounding areas to specialize in one of the most demanding industries with the highest technological projection.

• Knowledge Transfer: Aeromac will contribute its operational and technical expertise, ensuring that the curricula are aligned with international safety and maintenance standards.
