In an act that demonstrates its firm commitment to rural technical training, Aeromac made a significant donation to the Professor Diego Missene Burgos Technical Professional High School in Cobquecura: an aircraft jet turbine engine and a functional automobile, both intended to enrich the practical learning of students in the Industrial Mechanics specialty.
The award ceremony, held on March 28, was a milestone for the educational community of the high school, which has operated as a technical boarding school in this coastal commune in the Ñuble Region since 2021. Local authorities, Aeromac representatives, teachers and students, as well as families and neighbors, were present, celebrating this partnership that strengthens education in rural areas.
Pedro Zapata, one of Aeromac's directors, and Alejandro López, the school's director, led the delivery of the equipment. The incorporation of these technologies will allow students to apply their knowledge in a real-life context, with tools for professional use in the aeronautical and automotive sectors.
The community student orchestra also performed during the event, providing a moving artistic conclusion to a day marked by public-private collaboration and a commitment to developing new opportunities for young people from remote areas.
Without a doubt, these types of initiatives contribute to strengthening technical education in Chile, narrowing gaps and generating a positive impact on the future careers of hundreds of students.
